What other Nissan seats fit?

Just curious to know what other Nissan seats fit our Z as a direct replacement. Perhaps G37? Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

Probably G37 -- although I don't know how different they are.

Are you looking for ones that are more comfortable or just different? If you have base seats. the touring seats are nicer and will directly fit. If just looking for something different, you could try and get the convertable seats, which are (IMO) a little sportier looking,

Looking for a bit more comfort as I've got a slightly wider bottom than most. ;-)

I sincerely doubt that the seats out of a G37 coupe will fit your Z, it would probably be easier to shrink your *** than get bigger seats in there. I'm pretty sure there isn't room for the seat motors in the G seats either. That's why there are manual adjusters for the lumbar and seat cushion on the Z. Good luck!

I was looking at seats too, the seats in the Z are way too short for me half of my legs hang, just sucks. I think my best option is the Recaro Sports seats, they look amazing and the quality is the same as you would get in an Audi. Check out the Sportster CS Vinyl black / dinamica suede black. Some of the seats can be ordered in wider size

^^^ Something like that might be your best bet.

Otherwise, you'd have to do some p/n cross shopping to compare and contrast -- such as a site like here 2010 Nissan 370Z Front Seat - 870301

Almost 3 grand each seat I'll pass.

I'll just research and find a salvage yard to get some seats to experiment. Good point about the motors not perhaps fitting.

If I may offer a suggestion? Research the upholstery shops in your area, you might be able to find a competent shop that can customize your seat for a reasonable amount of cash. I think that would probably be less than trying to replace what you have. Maybe if you could have the side bolsters cut down a little that would suit your needs.

Side bolster ain't too bad as is. Just need a bit of softer and height. I'm 5,7".

In all honesty the current stock base seats aren't that shabby. But wouldn't mind swapping out for something else then when it comes to trade in the stock seats will also be mint.
On my last two trades both appraisers mentioned that my interior was as new. I used seat covers. ;-)

I stand 6'2" and weigh 300 lbs and have a fat a$$ and thighs as large as a whole turkeys and I fit just fine on the stock seats, and actually installed Sparco Fighter seats which are smaller since last year and I still fit. The Z was made for the american size, no clue why you guys complain size wise. Comfort wise, yes they are garbage but it's a sports car, it's expected. Touring seats are as comfy as they get if your in a budget.

Edit-
Have you checked for used R35 seats?

6', 195 here and i agree, a little wider bottom would have been nice.

karotZ not sure how you can fit and still be comfy. sounds like you would have to shoe horn your @ss in there.

some big arse guy got in my car last year to do the smog check and he did something to the seat where it makes like a spring shifting feel when i go over some certain bumps.

it's not the loose starwasher TSB cause i fixed that myself and it's a different feeling.

Limey does your living room have plastic covers on the couch too?

Hahaha. That was so funny. Thanks. No it doesn't have plastic, but I do have throws on them. Lololol.

Seriously, if I did have seats like the one you posted then they would have plastic on them for sure.
