Size Tow Hook for 2012 Z?

Hi Folks!

I´m from Germany, Sorry for my bad english.
I have an Tow Hook with 24mm for my 370Z, but it does´t match

What size is for the 370Z? It is an 2012.

No worries about your english. I just checked what we have on the shelf. Nissan has made MANY different tow hooks over the past few years. Most are a 24mm tow hook. Then the thread pitch has changed either in the crash beam or the tow hook itself.

The 2012 370Z uses a M24 x 3.00 mm tow hook while other 350Z and G35 models did use a M24 x 2.50 mm tow hook.

It is a tow hook like this here in the picture.
The thread to put it on my Z is a little bit to big.

This is the item I found to extend the hook past the Plastic/Bumper, U do have to have a 2" piece of Allthread also! Coupling extension.jpg

i think he asked if you needed a extension piece to have the towhook stick out past the bumper (i think), i barely understood it myself. but Dustin is right, the thread is a 24mm.

Is the thread different for a '13? Most I've seen for sale are for 09 to 12. Makes me wonder if they changed it in 13?
