I thought it came out pretty smooth considering I free handed it with a dremel. But just for you I'll be sure to sand it by hand in version 2.

Might be better off buying a small sheet of textured ABS and bending/forming it with a little heat.

Oooh, that's nice. Dammit why didn't I find this site when I was searching the interwebs for plastic sheets? Here comes version 2 or 3 of my trim piece.
