370z rear nismo spoiler?

Is there anywhere that has a 370z nismo spoiler for sale? When I went to the Dealership in the parts, they have the so called nismo spoiler that you can order, but it doesnt even look like one? It seems too small to be one. But when you look at the official nismo z, it has the really high lifted spoiler, which is what I am looking for. Any ideas on where to get one? websites?

nogoodname 08-29-2009 06:52 PM

real nismo one cant be bought.

you can get the S-Tune one though
and they probably just showed you the sport spoiler

search the forums for more info

The real wing costs $2k plus and from what we have found out is three pieces. They can be ordered and the part numbers are located in my nismo thread... Good luck!

onefastz 08-29-2009 09:30 PM

oh wow I didnt really know much about getting nismo parts, but I didn't know the spoiler would be that expensive..I think I'll wait on that one. Thanks guys

Auto_Infantry 08-30-2009 04:59 PM

Just wait a little bit, I know many companies that have already begun making some 370 exterior parts and I know some wings are in the mix of it.

Equinox 08-30-2009 05:19 PM

Hope my insurance will cover the cost when someone jacks my wing

htt760 02-10-2010 12:43 PM

wow 2k for a spoiler??? what a rip off.. nismo is not CF why would they charge that ridiculous price?

Because they can, and it stops people from just buying it creating an exclusive for the Nismo owners.

vipor 02-10-2010 12:47 PM

win!

It sucks, and one reason replica kits are made actually.

thezmonster 02-15-2010 12:54 PM

I went to the dealership and checked out the nismo spoiler (the real spoiler) it cost around 800-900 dollars but it will not fit the bolt pattern of the sports package 370z spoiler :/

vipor 02-15-2010 01:01 PM

These baby's are STRONG!

mick 02-15-2010 06:01 PM

it is amazing that the nismo rear spoiler can handle extreme weather and the weight of all that snow but it cannot handle what is done at an automatic car wash, at least that is what the warning sticker says :)

SophiaZ 02-15-2010 06:55 PM

I originally wanted the Nismo wing but went with the Nismo S-Tune wing instead. It flows better with the rear bumper. It would probably look goofy with the high rise wing now that i think about it

i bought the nismo without test driving it.
so the day i drove it home, i found out the wing covered up half the view :)

HAHA..it's a sweet wing tho! Fits the Nismo body perfectly

nstclair 02-17-2011 08:36 AM

You wouldn't happen to have a couple pics of the rear/rear angle of your car, would you? I've looked at your album, but nothing shows a "great" angle of the spoiler itself.

Thanks!

kielbasa16 02-17-2011 11:54 AM

There are close replicas out there now for the real nismo spoiler. Im actually about to order one myself. The replica is made by Seibon and is called the CF NSM spoiler. Question I have is that 370tuner has an FRP one as well for only 450, but I doubt its a Seibon product. I will be color matching the whole spoiler, do you think its a bad idea to go for the cheaper FRP version?

maro 02-19-2011 02:04 PM

I was thinking abt gettin frp one,, its missing a middle piece but still looks slightly different from the real nismo spoiler so im still debating

Equinox 02-19-2011 03:08 PM

yay more fake Nismo's on the road.

Sure. Because every person who likes the look of that spoiler wishes they had a slower, heavier, more expensive version of their car.

Nismo Elitism. :shakes head:

Thanks CB, I was about to make a similar post but you saved me the trouble. If I was remotely interested in making my car into a fake Nismo Id have have purchased the restrictive, terribly overpriced exhaust and some sweet stickers.

I dont think anybody has purchased and installed the FRP version, while I know the CF NSM has been done. Thats whats causing me to lean towards the CF version.

USMCASA 02-20-2011 12:53 PM

real nismo spoiler can easily be bought from a bodyshop. just tell them to call it in to their local nissan parts distributer, won't be cheap but it can be bought.

I'm not being elitist, I'm saying that why make yoru car look like a Nismo with a replica Nismo wing? It's akin to putting Type R wings on an LS. It's one step away from putting the Type R badge on your car, and that's the part that concerns me. I don't think the Nismo is better, I only bought it because I hate the base car's fangs, and the touring edition non modular radio so you can't change it out. I just hate cars pretending to be something their not, they should just be their own thing instead of putting on replica ****.

I think youre making too big of a leap to say that installing a replica wing is one step away from putting on Nismo badges. I cant speak for everybody but Im just looking to personalize my car with a wing that I like. I happen to like the Nismo wing more than any other aftermarket product out there right now. In no way does a wing scream out to people "hey look Im driving a Nismo" especially considering this replica is slightly different than the actual Nismo spoiler. People within the Z community could immediately tell its not a Nismo, and people from outside the community wouldnt know the difference between the Nismo spoiler and the Amuse even. Stickers on the other hand Id have to agree with you, I think its tasteless (but I wouldnt go posting negative comments in other threads).
The other argument of course is with the concept of replicas in general. Little to no R&D to produce something that closely mirrors a product that somebody else spent the time and money to perfect. Supporting those companies is something I would also like to avoid, but in the case of Nissans Nismo parts, they are specially overpriced so I dont feel bad buying 1 replica part.

UNKNOWN_370 06-28-2011 01:01 AM

I want ferrari mirrors, lambo doors, porsche emblems and bmw wheels on my Z. Ha!:roflpuke2:

Ftw. Lmao.

Kilbasa16 is right - the Nismo wing looks great.. and get over yourself if you think every one is just trying got look like the Nismo. I was going with Amuse all around and the CF Seibon NSM wing.. Yes it looks like the Nismo wing - but guess what, Nissan does not make a CF Nismo wing.. So Seibon does.. We are all NISSAN OWNERS!!! GET OVER YOURSELF!!! YIKES!!!

tabrams if you think I have some sort of Nismo ego, it is one you super impose on me. I never said Nismo was better than anyone else, what if I hated nismo, and I still hated the fact that someone is putting a replica nismo wing on? And as far as "[not] every one is just trying got look like the Nismo" seems inaccurate if I'm merely complaining purely about the replica wings, not amuse, and not that 'everyone' is allegedly doing it.

Makes you really adjust your side mirrors properly.

Equinox - you are the one who posted this right? Hmmm.. You might want to read what you post sometime before you got into not saying you don't have a NISMO ego.. Because your post seems like you do.. :)

Equinox 06-30-2011 06:07 PM

I don't want fake type Rs, fake Z28 camaros, replica anything. Either save up the money and get the right products the first time, or don't bother ruining another car making it look like something that supposedly sucks in the first place. I hated the whole enamer with the Integra Type R, so people would get type seats, knobs, door panels, and so on, when the car makes 200hp anyhow. It's dumb.

Yes because the Nismo is so unique like other rare cars. I respect it to no end, but nothing about the 370z Nismo is truly unique like the 350z Nismo.

well that's another thread all together.

I'm not here to fight anyone, and I've already expressed my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. Eitherway, I'm sure I'd still hang out with anyone of you guys and buy you a beer. I give thumbs up to plenty of 370z owners, nismo or not.

Not a big deal to change to the Nismo S tune. That is the one I have.

None of the wings except the VIP status type III wing and the carbon signal wing (not released yet) mount to the same holes as the stock sport wing.

RoshDawg 07-04-2011 05:57 AM

im about to buy a cf seibon nismo wing bc i like how the spoiler looks. amuse is too racey for me and you cant buy the factory nismo wing without spending about 3000k. personally, i want a wing that looks like a porsche gt2 rs wing. and the nismo wing just so happens to fit that description. i dont think that makes me guilty of trying to get a fake nismo. even if the nismo was never made i would still get this wing (if it were to exist).
