I always found the integras driving around with Type-R badges silly, when their bolt pattern was 4x100. |
Yes, fake Nismos like Integras with Nismo badge are lame. But Nismo is unavailable in Europe for example
The Nismo wing is really nice and Nissan knows why them made so nice bodykit. In my opinion the best parts from Nismos are rear bumpers and wing. Prefer more standard front bumper. But thats just me. Maybe it is, because really like TTRS design (owner of TT mk2 in past). About fake cars it is sometimes really funny to see standard VW Golf with R32 badges, neons, strobe lights and other stuff which that teenager saw in Fast & Furious. And yes, R32 is only Golf with AWD (Haldex) in current production. You can find in Europe a lot of cars with fake quattro badges, which is really stupid for me, if you have front wheel drive. Best of all is, when you see Audi with RS4 badge and it is basic 140 hp diesel :roflpuke2: If someone is putting Turbo badges on car without, it is his opinion and decision. Some people couldn't buy Nismo and want to use that parts. S-tune looks really cheap for a lot of people. Everyone has different opinions and all of us have really nice and amazing cars, so why I see hate in some posts in this thread? |
Guys. Wait for ours. I got my 2009 Nismo last month. I have already had this spoiler 3D scanned. Will be mass produce this spoiler in ABS plastic just like the factory one. Any chances on doing the rest of the nismo kit? Or at least the front bumper without the nissan emblem, all clean and sleek like...
|
wow!!!,,,thats what i wanted,,,any info when this would be available???!!!!!
|
Will be debute at 2011 SEMA show. No price set yet. This is higher and wider. On the original NISMO kit I believe its been made by other already. Coolest thing is this spoiler will just be like factory spoiler. Made of ABS plastic. Not Fiberglass.
|
about how much higher and wider would you estimate?
|

I'm just saying the only one i've seen is the ati nismo styled front bumper. It's not what i'm looking for, but a ABS plastic nismo front with no emblem form you guys would do it for me. I also hope your spoiler won't be to big, as the factory is pretty big already. |

Anyone know if the seibon nismo wing is all cf or just the top deck? If not is the base of it black/unpainted or what?

All carbon, top and bottom. |
If anyone has installed the seibon nsm spoiler themselves, please post a DIY if you took pics during the build! If not I guess I'll have to be the first. Just got mine n it has no directions or tips.

A few people on here have it, but i don't know if a shop put it on or if they did it themselves. |
Look for a DIY around Xmas time! Away from my garage till then.. I'll also be putting on
Evo-R's rear diffuser, stillen splitter and canards at the same time to complete the look + a ton of downforce. we need all the downforce on the back as possible |
its Oct!!! any update??

I wonder how hard it would be to remove the sport spoiler? I am wanting to try and do this install myself.

hello??? any update???
|
I just received my seibon nismo syle spoiler. It reminds me a lot of the Porsche gt2 spoiler. I'll take some pics later today off the car. I have yet to remove the sport spoiler as no one really has any good DIY on it, but I'm sure it won't be hard to figure out.

hey guys, so I have the spoiler with me (see attached pics below) but I am away from my garage and lift, which is where I'll be installing all the parts I've bought (splitter, canards, SS brake lines, resonated test pipes, spoiler, diffuser, and a few more bits). Unfortunately that will not be for some time, so I don't advise waiting for me.
However, for the spoiler, I am very happy with it. The weave is perfect, packaging was very secure (they also made it upon me ordering it which I find pretty cool) and it is very light. If you are going for a tasteful OEM look, this is the one for you. I ordered mine from Stillen and managed to get a very good price. Please note that you WILL need to drill some holes for the spoiler to fit, but the good news is that the OEM holes will be covered. Please let me know if you have any specific questions about it, and sorry again for not being able to install it now. |

http://www.the370z.com/attachments/e...oiler-rear.jpg but then there is a double sided tape/glue. Just use a fishing line and maybe even a heat gun / blow dryer. You will also need to take off the clips that align the spoiler, but take your time to not damage them just in case you need them, I hear they are quite fragile. There are 4 of them I believe (maybe including the 2 bolts from earlier? not sure). It would be easier to just replace and trade your hatch with someone else's Z. Hope this helps Edit: found some more instructions. Look at attached. |

There's only 1 reason I didn't buy a Nismo, I wanted one in Blue. So I did a conversion. Was cheaper than repainting the whole car. ;)
