Nissan 370Z Forum

I need some info. Please.

Does any one know how to remove the silver aluminum section of this door panel? It appears to have two rivet type locks near the top.

I can't see the rivets your are talking about but if so, you might have to drill them out. The silver nuts on the bottom are for your window and I recommend downloading that portion of the service manual. Looks like you'll have to pop off the window motor also.

Curious to why you are removing it? Unless weight reduction, it's going to be a pain in the *** to put back together.

Im have a slight rattle in the window when its rolled fully. Even if the door is open and I knock on the molding inside it'll make the sound. It honestly sounds like the glass itself. Ive tightened all the bolts in the door mold and throughout the entire door are. Including the plastic cowling before the mirror. I am assuming the noise is in the window rail assembly and am unable to reach it with the panel on.
