innovate wideband LC-1

Does anyone know if it is possible to use it without the LC-1 functions?

What do you mean?

I run mine purely as an AFR gauge no logging or anything. Just tapped into the downpipe.

Lc1 I believe is like a smart gauge to get more accurate readings. I read that a lot of people had problems trying to calibrate it. So I was wondering if it is possible to run without it

I've not installed an AFR gauge for the past 35k miles.

Actually, this stuff can be pulled up on UpRev. What I'd love to do is install an ODBII reader and display.

I actually have one of these on my desk at work at the moment. The LC-1 is just the wideband controller and a Bosch LSU 4.? sensor (no gauge). There's two 0-5 VDC analog outputs that could be tied to anything. Default analog settings are: analog #1 = simulated narrowband sensor output, analog #2 => 0V=7.35 AFR and 5V=22.39 AFR.

I use an Innovate MTX-L wideband. It is digital, so no additional controller or anything is required. The Bosch sensor plugs right into the gauge harness. No issues here calibrating it, just have to do it once upon installation.
