I have the complete Nismo rear fascia shaved and painted sitting in my spare bedroom complete with the rear fender protectors. I'm hoping to get around to install it this weekend. I will post up plenty of pics when done!

nice, I think that'll also be my first mod. Let me know how it goes bro. Are you planning to do the whole kit like I planned to as well?

Can you tell me how much it'll cost? Right now I am planning out the cost, if u don't mind me asking how much it cost you for your paint job, do you think selling my stock rear bumper will cover the paint job's cost? Or do u think it's much more?

Thano 05-05-2010 08:40 PM

I have done the full body conversion (save for the Nismo Spoiler). Total cost involved in the rear bumper, front bumper, side skirts and other fitment pieces is around $4000 for me at dealer cost (20% below retail).

Check out my conversion:

At Dealer cost its a bit over 2k. That's my project for NEXT spring/summer ;P
I do all the painting so it saves big there

resdm50 05-06-2010 12:20 AM

So what the total cost be for the nismo front bumper and all the other required parts?

that's awesome you do the paint job yourself, I don't know how hard it'll be to match the magnetic black paint because it has a metallic green specs along with the black. Looks like you did a good job on yours.

Any idea usually how much it usually costs for a body kit paint job if I were to do it piece by piece at a time?

The front bumperis the most expensive because you need the fender liners, lip, and under engine cover along witht the bumper itself. Total cost for just the front unpainted was about 2k

Z1 had the rear bumper pre painted for you? How much and how was the quality? Do they offer this as a usual option or was this a special deal for you?

Dustin@Z1 06-14-2010 02:13 PM

We can do the pre-paint work on a per order basis. The paint center we use is top notch, however they stay PACKED! It generally takes two to three weeks to get parts pushed thru by them. The prices also vary depending on the part. Unfortunately, the price that Jeremy was able to purchase the NISMO rear fascia for is no longer possible.

About a month ago, Nissan did a drastic price increase on these rear fascias. The price literally doubled over night.

We offer a complete NISMO Aero package on our website now that includes all the hardware and aero parts. The kit starts $3686.00. The normal MSRP is well over $4500 without the wing.

Here is the link to listing for the entire aero package:

How much for a set of Nismo Wheels? I did not see a set on your site.

Thanks for the info.

Dustin@Z1 06-15-2010 09:08 AM

Is it possible to pick up just the Nismo front bumper? If so, how much would it be?

Yes it is as I am about to do just that.

I got quoted around $1600 + S/H from Z1. Courtesy Nissan quoted me around $1,100 + S/H. Looks like my local Nissan parts can get it to me for $1,200 and I go pick it up saving shipping cost! :)

These do not include the under engine spash shield, because that is another grand!

Getting it painted is going to cost about $200 to $350. Z1 can do it for $200.

:ughdance:

Really? What all pieces are they including? I would be sure to double check all of the hardware and see what all is included at that price. I would be highly interested in hearing.

so $1,100 from Courtesy for JUST the front bumper?

Yes all the parts minus the $1,000 engine splash shield for a front conversion:

• Front bumper - FBM23-1A47H
• Front bumper diffuser - F2026-1A47A
• F3845-1A30A (Front inner wheel well liner for one side)
• F3844-1A30A (Other side - Without these there is a gap between the sides of the front bumper and the inner liner of the wheel wells)
• Inner wheel well spacers 63833-JK60A driver side
• Inner wheel well spacers 63832-JK60A pass side

Is there anything missing?

Dustin@Z1 06-18-2010 08:43 AM

There are ALOT of varios nuts, bolts and other misc. fasteners. Here are ALL of the Z34 NISMO aero parts on the front bumper that are different and not included on the non-NISMO 370Z. Some parts might be able to be left off for a basic fascia install. However I have learned from past experience, you will almost always need some odd, unforseen bolt or bracket that will hold up the install.

Here are the few screen shots from Nissan's FAST program:

http://www.z1motorsports.com/imageGa...asciaParts.jpg

ehh...and you can leave the tag bracket and hardware off. When I was pulling part numbers it popped up as different.

Thanks so much for updating that for us, this is something we've been waiting for so we can plan accordingly when to do it. I'm sure in the end your pricing should be the best, but you're saving us a lot of time from going to the dealership to check which parts we need and can live without.

Is there any chance you can do the Rear Nismo Fascia Modification too?

Similarly, the spoiler, I'd be interested to know the exact parts needed to do that job.

Thanks so much! +Props

Dustin@Z1 06-19-2010 08:25 AM

No problem...its been way to long and I should have posted all of these ALONG time ago. Give me a few minutes to knock out some emails and Voice mails and I will post up the rear wing, side skirts and rear fascia too.

And I will update the image above with one a clearer image. I did not realise how hard it was to view the text.

tjlazer 06-19-2010 11:19 AM

Your list seems to have more than what this thread is saying is needed for a front conversion. Can we get a good list of what is actually needed for a front end conversion?

Greed 06-19-2010 02:58 PM

In addition to the front bumper itself, you need:

1) Part 62026M. This is the front diffuser.

2) Parts 62066 RH / 62066+A (LH) / 62066+B (RH)/ 62066+C (LH).
These are your right and left fender liners or "protectors."

3) A few extra standard rivets or screws that your dealer (or Z1 maybe?) will have readily available

4) And... paint! :-)

Optionally, you can buy the Nismo engine undertray for lotsa money but it is not necessary.

I am told by my Nissan dealer that I also need the large fender liners that are in the wheel wells. Is this true?

EDIT, just got back and I ordered the front and side skirts! (For now, the rear and spoiler later) I did not order the fender liners, we shall see what happens! Stay tuned!

I hope to be the first Monterey Blue Nismo Z conversion! ;) :happydance: :ughdance: :driving:

Dustin. Is there a status on your under tray splash shield adaptor?

Ambient 08-04-2010 02:05 AM

So you can order the stuff from the dealership for all the fittings now?
I am going to get a Touring Sport A/T and this kit looks amazing.

Of you can contact Z1 and they will sell you everything you need with ZERO guess work... shoot they can even paint and install it too!

Ambient 08-04-2010 09:37 AM

Yea, I finally man-up'd and red the whole thread page by page.

I Pm'd him about the kit plus painting it.

I don't have my z yet, but I will shortly. Just waiting on to sell my Evo IX MR for 2/3 downpayment.

I will most likely order the kit right when I order my Pearl White 370z.
Then save up for carbon hood, roof, both pillars trunk and spoiler and set of Volks or Advan RS-Ds in black.

Ambient 08-04-2010 09:40 AM

I don't know about driving to GA with my work schedule tho haha.
I have a guy locally thats good at body work.

I am currently working on it now. I got back the first prototype [had a few issues], I am now awaiting a new revision now.

As far as the aero parts, I will say this. Nissan North America has been extremely slow at getting these parts in the country. We have seen ridiculously long wait periods on some of the NISMO aero parts.

If you are considering the true NISMO Z34 aero package, be sure to plan a few weeks ahead or give me a shout. I can locate the parts anywhere in the country and let you know what is/is not available at that time.

Please let me know asap as I am in the middle of doing my front and I will order this piece. I don't want to hack/drill my original one to fit if I don't have to.

I am getting my front and side skirts painted as I type! Keep posted!

First MB Nismo conversion...
