As NISOMZ stated, that is the S-Tune spoiler. Not sure why they went with a "shelf" theme on the s tune parts, oh well I guess.

Ah, yeah...The "Faux" Nismo look...An option though for those wanting something a little more aggressive but don't have the $$ for the real thing..

dainedazz 08-26-2009 02:03 PM

s-tune spoiler looks aight. it DOES make the car look aggressive. no no for me tho. that money goes somewhere else ;)

marcussoori 08-26-2009 02:24 PM

thanks for the nismo rear bumper part numbers and prices.

So, there are just two parts I need to install the nismo rear bumper? Any other misc. parts needed, or can they be taken from the factory rear bumper?

Thanks!

Try again...

Fully loaded sport + touring + s-tune complete kit = 50k

Nismo factory = 41k...

OK, I'll try again as you clearly misunderstood my point.
We were talking about an $800 wing, Not packages, not factory options, not fully outfitted Nismo cars

Base car + Wing = $31K
Sport with wing = $34K

Thanks for clarifying. I personally don't like the looks of either Nismo wing.

The one thing he is checking with Nissan Corp is the $1100 cover that is under the engine which was different and wondering if that is correct. He had to contact his supplier at Nissan on most of these to get all of them.

The actual metal bumper support is replaced on the 370z front and rear on this model. So that also adds to the cost now vs the older one.

I wonder why they would need new metal impact beams for the NISMO bumpers? Doesnt seem very cost efficient to me. I would assume they would just change the styrofoam thing directly behind the bumper to match the new bumper countour. I wonder if all those random supporting peices (retainer, protector, clips, armature, etc) are ACTUALLY different from the standard Z bumper so we could recycle ours and save some $$$

Because they stick out further is my guess.

RCZ 09-11-2009 09:21 AM

it probably doesnt even need it. If it doesnt and its just a technicality then I'm not changing mine..

marcussoori 09-12-2009 10:55 AM

So, any consensus on the exact parts needed?

Mike@Blackline 09-15-2009 05:56 PM

despite all these changes needed or apparently needed for the front, can we agree that the only thing needed to change to a nismo rear is the bumper itself? bolts up with any other needed parts or changing any underpans?

shabarivas 09-15-2009 06:05 PM

Yea - can anyone confirm that? also what are approx prices for just the rear?

yes the quicker this gets confirmed, the quicker Alliance can start their full body carbon fiber conversion for the 370z using the nismo rear :ugh2:

NIZMOZ 09-19-2009 10:29 PM

The rear as per the parts list I posted, has different bumper stuff under the cover. But I wouldn't think it would be much to just put a cover on.

RCZ 09-20-2009 10:14 AM

Come onnnn someone replicate these things in carbon!

dainedazz 09-20-2009 07:32 PM

i saw my first NismoZ34's in person couple nights ago and it looks so sexy.
looks straight up WIDEBODY.

the FRONT looks SO SEXY & SIMPLE BUT AGGRESSIVE AND THE REAR HAS A FAT A$$

jmlenz 09-21-2009 01:02 AM

I hope some one pioneers this task and tries to bolt up some Nismo bumper covers F&R to find out what is ACTUALLY needed and what we can reuse from our current bumper covers. The faster this gets done the better for the whole Z community. Or better yet...CF replacements!

waiting on word. they are wrapping up their full body 350z conversion and if its proven that all you really need is the bumper (dont actually need new reinforcement etc) then i'll relay the word and you'll have a full CF 370z in no time :happydance:

Equinox 09-23-2009 10:21 AM

Too bad there isn't a Carbon Fiber company that wants to make NISMO body panels in Alabama :P

we can start with a hood :) we need someone who can afford to drive around w/o a hood. bullit is sending us his engine cover, lets get the CF 370z project underway!

Equinox 09-23-2009 03:55 PM

Haha, Nismo hood ain't any different than the base model hood. Where you guys located anyways, cause shipping on a hood - freight, ain't cheap.

RCZ 09-23-2009 06:43 PM

If you guys are in Florida you can have my car for however long it takes. But chances are you are in Cali.

Yeah i know, i was saying lets start on something that we know will work without any special brackets or reinforcements :)
and you are right, but its not toooo bad and we'd work a deal out on splitting the shipping of your hood here (the free CF hood you get would be paid for to you)

Thats what you'd think. IDK how california gets so lucky all the car stuff.
North carolina is where I work is (blackline motorsports)

FricFrac 10-18-2009 02:43 AM

So there is still no lovin on getting the NISMO parts?

Mike@Blackline 10-18-2009 02:28 PM

we will definitely be acquiring some nismo parts straight from nissan and having Alliance make them into carbon fiber. right now they are busy with their 370/g37/m45 BBK development, and their 350Z carbon fiber projects, but it is definitely next in line. bullit (the OP) is the test mule :) he's sending the engine cover and other covers for the bat/fluids in the next few days here for some CF prototyping, yays!

bullitt5897 10-18-2009 04:49 PM

Yep! Cant wait to get them to you! I will be shipping them out this week :D

nogoodname 10-18-2009 04:56 PM
