I just checked with a local dealer here in Hawaii about buying the nismo body kit, he quoted me 2500 for the full set up. I did however forget to inquire if that was the nismo S-tune stuff or the actual nismo kit. Additionally, I inquired for the 2010 cooled seats in red, and he told me 6200 total per seat and said that its purchased 'ala carte' and not as a whole unit. :icon14:

Wow, 6200 a seat. Just wow. Lol. OEM parts for you. Better off trading your car in for the anniversary edition.

HustlerX5 -

great news! Looks like your the first one to attempt the Nismo bumper on a non-nismo. Any update on an EXACT parts list that is needed? Are you saying a new metal bumper support is not needed?

I DID IT!!!!!!!! well at least just the front end...lol. My car was involved in an accident a couple of weeks ago in which my front end got f*cked up so I took the liberty of using some of my insurance company's money towards a well deserved upgrade. The front itself is not done yet though, i'm waiting for the bottom spoiler to come in by wednesday along with two new fender liners that are specifically for the Nismo bumper cover. As for the $1,100 dollar ridiculously over priced engine under cover...well, i'm almost 100% sure it won't be necessary. I'll get back to you guys with more details on the parts needed sometime this week, for now here's the pics of the front end along with a couple of profile pics so you guys can see how the bodylines flow with the new bumper, I personally think it looks a million times better than the fangs and it probably should have come this way from the factory, but to each his own. Kind of reminds me of my old V2 350Z front end as well...so I threw in some pictures for comparisons sake. :driving:

I saw on eBay a ca Nissan dealer is selling several nismo bumpers for $250 this morning. Not sure if it's a error on pricing.

By looking around a bit more on that user/dealers shop:
~There are two front bumper pieces, they come with ZERO mounting equipment. So if it does not work with stock pieces you are SOL, which I can be it will not mount with stock hardware
~They also have the rear bumper by the looks of things, but the same thing.
~No side skirts

Installing the bumper should be fairly easy with stock bolts and nuts. However a new undertray will be required. A person can make one or buy the real tray and whatever else goes down below. Or leave the tray off.

Good find guys! those are some pretty good pricing too.

Also, it is about 250 for each part, but another 200 for shipping (not horrible). If anyone can get in contact with this dealership and find out if these are real Nismo parts (not S-tune).

Those are the Nismo and not the S-Tune. They sell the S-Tune kit as well in a seperate ebay acution for over $600, but they come painted to match factory colors.

we need this 'Nismo bumpers can or can not be mounted with stock hardware' mystery solved!

gleonard 11-02-2009 12:30 PM

the West Covina Dealer isn't too far from my house, so I think I'm going to go over there and pick up the bumper. They also sell the front bumper diffuser for over $400. I'm not sure if that is a requirement to make it work or not.

Anyone know of a good paint shop in the LA area?
