side skirt removal?

Its been a while but dont the hatch pieces have a locking clip that can be unlocked to help remove them? The clips on the skirts are not like that

The clips on the skirts are not like that at all. They pop in the car and are not meant to come out again. The proper way is a puzzle method like removing a door panel, which again I never do right.
