I have it set up so the reverse wire gets 12v whenever I hit a switch. I don't have it wired to the reverse wire as I sometimes use it

I have it set up so the reverse wire gets 12v whenever I hit a switch. I don't have it wired to the reverse wire as I sometimes use it to monitor my cargo with my trailer. That way I don't have to go into menu and select rear view camera everytime I back up, I can just hit a switch in the center console
