Default Peeling window tint - WeatherTech Mats and a Z that sits during the week

Hey guys, I shouldve thought of this before but this is the first time in my life I had the luxury of having a second car and a work car.

I live near philly, we had some snow. So I ordered the laser measured WeatherTech mats for my Z. A few times every weekend I would take out my car when the roads were clear. Drive it for a bit and then park it when I was done. Snow from my feet would melt and make a little puddle on the floor.

During the week my car sits outside in a driveway and evaporates this puddle. Weekend arrives, get into the car and you can see the condensation on the inside of the window. Just put heat on blast until I see the droplets disappear. Seeing this Im like 'f' these mat cause they do not soak up the water. Put in the carpet mats that came with my Z. Next weekend no more droplets on inside of windshield all is good in the hood.

Go to put down windows and put them up again.. see that they come up with water on them. Look at the corner and see my tint that was put on is peeling. The tint shop I went to has a lifetime warranty on peeling, so I will take it back to them.

What I want to know what is the best way to dry out the inside of the doors so they dont reject my retinting as 'getting water in the door'?

Thanks Guys,

I wrote this up as a fair warning to my fellow Z owners so they dont find themselves in the same boat as me.

Take care guys
