Interest check - ~Kellyefields~ custom hood damper kit

I installed my hood strut today, the right side is perfect, and the left side has SLIGHT hood bulge. It's barely there. Any idea on how to lower it down

It's barely there. Any idea on how to lower it down a bit? I was going to snap some pictures but its dark out now. I'll get some tomorrow before I take the car in for the harness bar install.
