Kind of a loaded question. It really depends on what you want your car to be used for. The best parts are going to be the ones you need to have. If you're into hitting the track for example, the best parts are going to be specific for racing. It's kind of pointless to install added weight and useless exterior mods if that's the case. For a car more for the street, you can get away with what looks and sounds the best to you. It's like looking at show cars at SEMA and comparing them to thier track specific counterparts. They can both be the "best" in thier respective purpose without sharing any specific aftermarket upgrade.
If I could build my Z up, regardless of cost, it would probably be setup for street and the occasional track use. Engine: Built Engine w/GTM Twin-Turbo Kit & all supporting mods Brakes: Stoptech 4-pistons Powertrain: Quaife Differential, OS Giken Clutch Plate Exhaust: Custom Suspension: Tein Monoflex Coilovers w/ SPL Arms Wheels/Tires: TE-37's w/RE-11's Exterior: Varis Kit (CF) Interior: Rear Camera (Mirror), Upgrade Pod guages, Shift knob
