HID D2S bulb help please

Hey guys, I have tired to replace me stock HID blubs 3-4 times already and nothing seems to be working. I don't want to name names of companie I got them from don't want any trouble(don't know if they are sponsors here or not). But I keep ordering them and sending them back they say their products work but as soon as I install it on my car it doesn't work. Is there a special D2S or it is a regular D2S bulb? When I install it and turn it on the bulb does not light up when I turn the high beams on it flashes on and off after. I even tried to disconnect the battery start the car then turn them on NOTHING. Could someone help me with this please. I have a 2012 base model 370z 6mt nothing special. And I have done this before on other cars so I know what I'm doing and I never touched the bulb or anything like that.

Thank you someone help please.

Could just be crappy bulbs..

I would order D2S bulbs from another company entirely.. i reccomend theretrofitsource Morimoto 35W (5000k or 6000k) bulbs. OEM quality and i highly reccomend them.

D2S: Morimoto 3Five (35w) - HID Bulbs from The Retrofit Source Inc

It is actually light blue 10K plus is the purple ones I have always used 8K on my cars, G35, 335, tsx loved it on all of them it's not too blue it's a very light blue mostly white.

+1 for TRS. I've gotten bulbs from them as well as an HID retrofit for my wife's Civic and they have top notch service and parts. You can't go wrong with those guys. Spend the extra money and have peace of mind.

8000k is too blue if you ask me and very little output.. 6000k is highest i'd go for that exotic white/blue tint look.

4000k

I mean I'm sure Nissan guys picked a good one that is a good balance of cost, reliability, and light output. Stick with stock.

Otherwise you'll be driving in an aquarium.

You do realize that a more quality bulb with a lower kelvin rating will probably yield a nicer light output and better looking color. I had years ago 6600k mcculough HID system that was no joke and it emitted a purple which is higher on the kelvin scale for colors then blue and my friend had 8000k on his car and they looked cheap blue color as they were a cheap bulb...

As stated above go with a nice phillips 6K bulb as the color and light output will be a perfect comprimise... 8K is too high

Keep it classy on the Z
