Default Shineautoproject aero kit amuse replica front bumper fitment issues

Guys I've recently purchased the shine auto amuse body kit. My body shop tell me they are having problems where to locate the airbag sensors?

Also the OEM front bumper has an aluminum brace that runs the length of the bumper offering support but impedes the fitting of the shine auto part without cutting away some plastic that shouldn't be seen as it is behind the mesh to the sides.

I've scanned the forum and can't seem to find others with this problem can anyone shine some light on this.

I don't want to give them the nod and then cut away parts of the bumper only to create another issue. I live in Marbella Spain and its a pain getting things from the states sent here!

Thanks

Live in Spain, but says "location: england"

I'm skeptical of the body shop saying you have to cut something. The original Amuse kit did not require any sort of cutting to get the kit to fit correctly. Shine's should be no different, unless their mold went to hell.

hahahahaha

Phelan did you take pictures of the bumper being offered up into place?

Also what did you do with the airbag sensors? asked my local dealership and gave me zero help!

I installed my kit myself and did not run into any airbag sensors (can you provide pics of this please?) Crash bar was not removed, just the foam piece it was the only thing in the way. The only thing I had to cut up was a section of the fender well that is no longer needed because of the Amuse built in diffuser.

Here is a picture of the foam piece/crash bar. Again I just removed the foam and then it fit fine.

Also here is a link to my post about removing a portion of the front fender liner. I hope this helps!

Finder Liner wont fit Amuse Front

If your body shop is having problems locating anything on your car I would suggest finding a different body shop...
