You need to keep the car balanced, so too much downforce in the rear is going to provoke understeer, and vice-versa. Make sure the wing and splitter work together to create equal amounts of negative lift.

I'm not sure if anyone is running a chassis-mounted wing on this forum; if they are, I would love to see how they did it.
