Are there any plans of producting a design that hinges at the corners without the stem, like the other type of Craftsquare mirrors?

I painted the bases and got it all installed. I do have one question, why or what is the purpose of the black tape your instructions call for?

Nice, on the bottom part of mirro base used to have a rubber seal from stock mirror to cover a very small line. So this black tape is to cover that part.
