Question about EVO R front lip

Can anyone tell me how much clearance there is from the ground to the bottom of the lip? I want to know if I'll be hitting any curbs when going

Default Question about EVO R front lip

Can anyone tell me how much clearance there is from the ground to the bottom of the lip? I want to know if I'll be hitting any curbs when going on driveways or inclines/declines in leveled parking garages. Thanks!

The front of the lip is no lower than the stock bumper. You will likely scrape the chin spoiler instead of the lip

On my 12 nismo I think the center of bumper is about 7 inches off ground and sides are about 6 inches off.

doesn't the lip attach to the bottom of the front bumper so it hangs a little lower?

and are you talking about the after market nissan chin spoiler?

It does attach to the bottom of the bumper, but the lip is designed to mount on the front of the lowest part of the bumper (hard to explain)

And I'm referring to the OEM chin spoiler on the sport package Z.

Here is a perfect shot explaining it (thanks to Ryan, 98intrigue)

This is the EVO-R lip and you can clearly see that the OEM chin spoiler is the lowest point still. The EVO-R lip simply covers the bumper and sticks out further, adding minimal length to the bumper and sparing ground clearance issues.
