the down side is if this is going on a dd, if you lock it down at the position you like (race mode they call it) and someone bumps it with their fat arse or purse, it could potentially break the mirror. it's not a fragile mirror, but a big enough bump who knows.
I drive my car mostly on wkends... maybe once or twice during the week. But i ride hard so I rather just have durable shyt on my car... But the overall design of the craftsquare is pretty nice...

it's durable enough for GT races so any street driving/weekend road course/auto-x you might be doing is not going to affect it at all... well, unless you crash. but thats a different story.

Good point..the green car is completely hidden from the Z no matter how the mirrors are set....they just dont rotate out far enough.. can you illustrate the problem of coming to a stop sign where another road crosses at less than 90 degrees coming from the right?

That is true but if you're picking up groceries it's hard to get the grocery cart between cars to the hatch for loading is impossible.

But then again, I don't have young eyes
That is exactly the problem..and it would be solved by a simple flat mirror that was attached to the regular mirror at a different angle..thereby giving a wider view without the distortion..the two mirrors would work together..

I cant believe that such a F*** a simple common sense thing is unavailable!

( Yes I am loosing my patience!)

Ok so tell me how I adjust the mirror so I can see a car coming from my right hand side at an intersection where the intersecting road cannot be seen in the windshield because it is not intersecting at a 90 degree angle but at something less and cannot be seen thought the pillar on the right hand side because the side mirror cannot be adjusted far enough out to see it either?

I have had to stop and actually get out of the car in this situation..

I have mine adjusted to where I can't see the sides of my car. Before an oncoming car on either side of me goes out of view of my rearview mirror, I can see it in the sideview, and before it goes out of view on that, I can see it without a mirror.

My 2013 Mustang GT has the little extra mirrors on the sideviews and I hate them.

I've honestly never in my life come across a situation like this.

Well there are several roads here which have intersections that are more like an X than a + ( not to mention the roundabouts)and that is a real pain! See the problem?

because they are unneccesary and distracting. They take up mirror space that could be better used with a direct view. There is no reason to see the side of your car in your sideview mirror. Noone is ever going to sneak that close without you knowing it.

Its not so much a problem on the drivers side but on the passengers side ..objects are so small you cannot see them..

I was thinking of carrying a microscope and using it each time I glanced at the passengers mirror but.....
