Some guys like to use a silicone based adhesive. you can get it at just about any big box hardware store. Guys on construction sites (like the glazers and carpenters) "Put that sh!t on everything!" and it holds up huge sheets of 1/2" to 1" think glass on the side of buildings.

If I put the silicone would it be easy to take off later? If I want something different or just want to back to stock?

Nope, I find it leaves a mess of rubber goo stuck on the bumper that you have to basically scrape off. I had to use a buffer with a polishing/sanding agents to get it off, and stripped my paint in the process. But then again, I suck at doing these sorts of things. On a side note I guess I didn't use enough, because my Seibon lip fell off yesterday and shattered into a thousand pieces across the highway, and now I need a replacement ASAP. All around bad luck on my side.

Oh wow sorry to hear that bro do you know what you're going to use on the new one? I really don't want to use that. You think using double sided tape and a few screws would hold it? And maybe some silicone on the bottom of the bumper?

the silicone will hold stronger then the double sided tape if you use the right stuff. also to get it off if you heat it with a heat gun (note must keep gun in motion to prevent over heating) the left over silicone will also peel off when heated up

But if your willing to but the holes in the bumper then yes screw are your best bet

So the only thing you used was 3m?

I have a Top Secret lip that has fangs, so it just sits on top of the original fangs and bolts in from the bottom and the side. 3m tape just keeps mine from sliding.

Good to know about the heat gun, I didn't even think of that.

I used 3M and Screws, and a little silicon but it got messy. Apparently none of that was good enough. It would slide down when I hit bumps, but I thought it was secure enough to not fly off. I was wrong I need one that goes over the fangs also Mike, but it looks like the only options are Nismo S-Tune which is too bulky, and Top Secret like yours. I'm going to try this again, but this time bolt it down with nuts, 3M everywhere and silicone. Another $500 bucks down the drain.

I think I'm going to use nuts under it everywhere and 3M and silicon the top and sides everywhere I can so it can hold 100+ mph at the track.

Mino did you get the one in the Private For Sale section? I think I was trying to battle you out for that one. He told me that someone was picking it up today. Dammit now I have to wait for one from Seibon through the same guy.

We have installed a boatload of different carbon lips and diffusers for a variety of cars here, all using 3m tape. One of the things I always recommend to people is to clean the surface first to remove all wax. Next is to use the 3m tap adhesion promoter. Such as these guys.
Those things make a world of difference.
