I was going to do my headlights in a black chrome, but it's really hard to do and after trying a few different methods, I wasn't confident enough to do it to my Z headlights.
I wanted them to look similar to this..  I tried taking some gloss black base coat and reducing the **** out of it so that it's almost clear. But it's extremely hard to get an even coat, and when you build it, it just gets darker and darker. It's hard to make it not look like crap... so, I scraped the project. |
