Stock base audio red backlight flashing

For some odd reason, my base audio red backlight flashed a little as I hit the brakes. Radio didn't cut out nor did the actual display, the only thing that flashed on and off was the red backlight behind the screen. What do you guys think it could be? Since it only did it when I was on the brakes, could it be my trailer lights? Is it possible that the backlight is powered off the same feed as the brake lights? It stopped doing it after I restarted the vehicle.

Battery losing capacity?

Brakes lights (especially LEDs) don't draw much voltage but the only thing I can equate it to is when your battery cannot handle your sound system and the dash lights dim.

I haven't seen it happened since this afternoon, I have a feeling it might be related to my trailer light. Does the red backlight always come on on the radio even when headlights are off?
