Default Ring on mesh grill?

The title might be confusing but i am looking some type of ring that i can attach onto the mesh grill.

reason being, the shop that did the prep and paint on my bumper installed the mesh behind the tow hook mount...Its an eye sore every time i look at it.

i want to move the grill in font of the mount but i still want the mount to be functional. I saw a pic a while back where the owner of the car cut a hole on the mesh and covers the edges with a ring.

it might sound or look ricey to some but i am gonna paint i black to blend in with the grill or use a tow hook license plate mount.

any help is appreciated

You can get some black rubber tube, cut a slit in the middle and voila.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes to the area where they sell replacement screen for screen doors and windows. They have a variety of black rubber tubing that is used to hold the screen in place. It comes in different sizes. It's hollow so just cut a slit in it and it will work great. I did this with my rear license plate frame so that the metal would not be up against the paint.

What your looking for is a metal washer. I've seen it before too, so the way it goes is you remove your mesh grille, cut a round hole and then do a small weld/solder on the metal washer from the back to cover the cut. Make sure you get a washer that your tow hook can fit and access. These washers come coated in zinc like most meshes, just gotta paint it black.
