Ditto on why people lower... for many/most of us, it is about performance.... especially those who take their cars to the track... e.g., you think this cup car is lowered for the pimp factor?

Agreed. I replaced the one on my Vette at around 30k miles. I've already had my 370z to the shop to have a rivet drilled out and a new, larger one put back in because I took the corner off going over a deeply "V'd" driveway at an angle.
