I actually prefer not having one at all. Now I don't have to hear it scrape all over the place and when I lower the car it won't get completely ripped off.

Don't worry too much about scraping the chin spoiler.
Have fun with the car and enjoy with your normal driving.
It is only rubber/plastic and the scraping does not harm the car.
Furethermore, it can be replaced easily and it only costs $160.
I plan to replace mine every two years or when a new version come out on the next year model.

The guy who drove my Z from being prepped to the showroom for delivery parked it too far in to the curb and scraped that chin spoiler. The dealership replaced it and let me keep the original one. I'm sure spoiler scraping is going to be a common annoyance.

^^^ agreed, dont worry about it! Its a simple plastic piece and should almost be considered a wear item.

The guys at my dealership said don't even bother putting it on given the roads here in LA, it'll just get torn up and you'll hear it all the time.

So mine is brand new in the back of my car too.

I don't have the Sport Package and thus don't have the Chin Spoiler, but even so, my wind deflectors scrape things all the time! Both the center one and the wheel ones. But they're rubber, so whatever. I just can't imagine having that Chin Spoiler if even my wind deflectors scrape all the time....
