I sure hope you held the shift shaft with vice grips when you did this ! (per all printed instructions I've seen) otherwise that last part may come true (bushing/pivot damage). If I could have wrapped two hands around it without having to hold the shaft I mighta been able to do it too...

ill post it this afternoon. also, i DID NOT hold the shaft when i twisted it off. ive got a B&M shifter in the garage, so i wasnt worried about damaging the stocker.
