Default 2012 dim cluster?

I don't know if it's just me but with max brightness I still feel my gauge cluster is dim....

It's dimmer than all the surrounding lights....l

SO i just updated with this pic.... The pic makes it brighter than it really is, but it feels dim. Other cars i have have brighter clusters than this. Even an older 2004 lexus.

Is it just me being paranoid? Also in the day shouldn't it be lit up, i feel its like completely off.

Yes it's maxed out but not bright at all... Also in the day shouldn't it be back lit? Meaning its still lit but even brighter for the day light?

Make sure you have your lights in "off" or on "auto." If you have them on, then the dash will be dimmer because its assuming its nighttime. Even if you have them on, they should go off after you shut off the car and get out, so you might not ever realize it.

At this point it's not me ... If anyone can snap a night picture I'd appreciate it.

Yes it's on auto... The speedo and tachometer white lights are dim even maxed out...

im telling you, the phone made it brighter......

In person the white is pretty dim looking, this is why I wanted a comparison photo especially with someone using an iphone 4.

I remember with my STI, my cluster in the day was like lit and really bright to counter outside lighting, but it isn't like that with the Z either. It looks off basically.

looks fine...the cluster itself isn't lit during the day I don't think? The thought being that the sunlight will light it up...during the day the only things lit up are the screens and gas gauge
