Windshield Wipers Do Not Clean Entire Windshield

No, it's not length. If that were the case, they would go off the top of the windshield when they wiped. The 3-4 inch space is on the left side of the windshield going vertical, not across the top.

See the pictures attached. Does everyone else's look like this? Notice how there's a huge gap on the side not getting cleaned...
