Default Emblem application and painting

So after failing with plasti dip I ordered a fairlady Z badge and a new nismo badge.

They obviously come in the silver and chrome colors. What types of paint should I use to paint these black?

Also, with the stock nissan emblems, once removed and painted, what product would you all recommend to put them back on? The two emblems I ordered come with adhesive on them.
