What vendors are you using?

Go 6000K and change out to SiR lenses for the color.

stock being 4300k 5k is the optimum but 6k is whats normally found and so most will use any higher and you will start to loose some visibility

6000k is as high as I would go. They'll put you at approx 2900 lumens vs 3100 for stock. They have a nice hint of blue. 8000k will be blue and you'll be looking at 2500 lumens which is still brighter than the halogen bulbs that are still being used on some cars.

I carry the low bulbs and license plate led bulbs. We're working on reverse and parking lights now.

Contact me direct with any questions.

I bought and installed the Phillips Ultinon 6700k, they are gorgeus. Perfect color IMO.

They are pretty hard to find, but they worth it!.

Here, i found them they are kinda expensive but you won't regret.

Better performing? No. You'll lose light output. It won't be a lot of light output, but it will noticeably dimmer. Better looking? That's subjective. I like anything from 4300k to 5500k in terms of the color. The last time I had HIDs on a car, I went with 4300k for max light output.

I got a full set from Third Gear Performance, but one of my licence plate lights has already gone and I have barely been driving my car this winter.
