Stock knob Removal
 

I have been trying to remove the stock Knob but no luck . Does anyone have a tip for getting it off?

Just use a channel wrench ;)

When you figure it out will you come do mine next? lol

i ended up using my oil filter wrench and killed it real good. :icon17:

i snapped 2 brand new strap wrenches and was like f- it. :D

make sure you hold the shaft side too when you turn. :)

Take your time. I got mine off with no marring and following the DIY.

ive tried and tried seems that everything keeps slipping off the knob. i dont want to damage it. might try the duck tape tomorrow .

I think its near impossible not to ruin it.. Mines trashed :[

mine was thrashed!

strap wrench on the knob. pipe wrench on the shaft. 25 seconds tops.

If you're lucky. Some cars came with loctite fever.
