Default Zele Bodykit Questions

Alright everyone, so I'm about to get my first Z and I'll have around 20k to dump in it. I'll most likely get the touring/sport edition and I'm probably going to TT it and upgrade the performance a lot, but I also want it to look good So this is where I'm at. The Nismo is just too aggressive looking for me, the main thing about it is that spoiler and back. Just too much for my taste. So I'm thinking about a Zele body kit, but I have only seen it on bullit's car (Looks alright on his) and on the pictures of it in orange (Looks absolutely gorgeous) So my questions about it are, is the base color that they ship it too you pearl white (Doubt it) or will it match a PW Z? What are the chances that it won't fit good, I mean if I'm gonna spend 6k+ on a body kit I at least want it to fit and look good and not cheap. Or is it just a sure thing that it will fit near perfect 99% of the time? Also is painting a new Z just retarded? Because I love the orange they have in the showroom. If you wouldn't recommend painting a brand new car, what color looks good with the carbon fiber? I really like PW and the blue. And does it help any performance by like getting more air to the engine or something (I am an idiot with cars ) Oh and lastly does anyone on the forums just have a PW or blue Z with just the lip and spoiler? Cuss those are pretty much why I'm getting the whole kit (Their so awesome looking ) Thanks everyone in advance and sorry for rambling

Cannot comment on kit fitment as I have yet to see one put on in person yet, but all kits come primed ready for paint so it is cost of the kit plus prep and paint. You can do whatever you want with your car paint wise, but if a stock Nissan color is something you like then make sure you get that, saves a bit of money.
More air can generate more power, but there are other things to consider when doing that. When you add more air, the engine is working harder and requires supporting mods to insure it continues to operate within normal range.

As a fellow "Young" z owner. People on here can be really harsh and I wouldn't have given out my age like that because people automatically start bashing you

But anyways.. Start with something small and build your way up. Don't try to do everything at once. Nissan has some pretty cool colors already but if you have money to paint it, more power to you, because Nissan Z paint isn't the best quality..

fitment with any body kit is never oem perfect but the more expensive kits ( like Zele and Amuse) usually fit better than the cheaper kits. Knockoffs don't fit so well...trust me, i've been there.

Have you considered skipping the Z and moving up a level since you seem to have a bit more money?
Consider a M3, probably considered the best buy for under 100k today and will definitely allow for more.

for the body kit, even if the fitment is off, a body shop can make it fit really well, depends on the skill of the body shop. assuming its not crazy bad fitment

20g probably wont buy you turbo kit, authentic body kit, and decent custom paint job. you can vinyl the car including the unpainted body kit. you save some money there

You could always just ask me lol...

Fitment is a 9 out of 10... slight prep then paint... great fitment!

Comes in white primer and I suggest you get the front CF spoiler.

I can get the kit for you if need be. If you have any other questions about the kit or the car platform you can PM me or call me 678.873.8705

Mike

I thought you'd be mad that I'm trying to copy your car. But don't worry I'll be original, my project name will be "White Wyvern"

There are plenty of vendors on the board that can get it for you. I personally wouldnt go 370z tune because of their prices and my personal experiences with them.
