That looks terrible.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but c'mon. Why buy a 30k sports car and spray paint the effin roof? :shakes head:

Yeah that's why I removed it immediately after taking the pics. More of just an experiment for fun to see how the stuff worked. If it looked good then it would be great and I would save some money. If not, then I can just take it off and no harm done.

Whew! You had me there for a second... man... good call...

I plasti-dipped my emblems on my Z and they came out great. I ended up peeling them off and spraying them and re-gluing them back on. Looks much more complete now.

I'm thinking about plasti-dipping my fangs after getting the Stillen front splitter. Definitely shouldn't be anywhere near as terrible looking as the roof. :icon17:
If it doesn't look good, then I'll just take it off and get it painted at a body shop.

I had my roof vinyl'd over two years ago and it still looks good.

You just need to treat it like you would treat a painted part and it should last you for awhile.

Has anyone used a Vinyl wrap on the roof to go gloss black? I don't want to paint it as I want to be able to remove if I feel it necessary.

What color do you have? What about wheels? Some pics would help... We always follow a theme with the car and make sure it flows.

corbin09, very nice, I have been debating gloss or semi glass black roof in vinyl for both my PG and the bro's Red Z34. Someone mentioned the Bat as a source, wonder what he is charging for the vinyl as I have someone locally that can install it.

I don't have enough money for CF- Id love to, but i have better things to spend a thousand dollars on haha

lol to-shay my friend, to-shay:tiphat:

to be honest with you, we are only a few hundred more than the amount you listed ;). Which involves removing windshield, rear hatch, sanding down roof, prepping, wrapping, resin, more sanding, more resin, more sanding, more resin LOL you get the point. Finally professionally clear coated and everything reinstalled :driving:....

Is your CF, glossy or more of a flat matte color?
