Actually i've thought of that, but i'm of 2 minds about it... the dealer repaints it and you run the risk of them using the cheapest paint and the least experienced guy to do the job and end up with a bunch of nicks and such that they can then claim as normal driving, or hope that over time the sun will bleach the paint enough where it looks a little closer.

I would think that, at least in theory, they should cover it under warranty.

The car was sold to you as a single color, not two tone.

You might call your insurance to see if there are any dealers they like to use for body work and go to them? Worth a try...

Thank you, sir.

I actually had some work done at a dealer around here that was recommended by my insurance -- and they did a FANTASTIC job.

If you can find a dealer who happens to have good paint guys, no reason not to use them, and especially if Nissan will cover it
