Looking forward to this as well as a replacement for my DD (not a replacement for the Z). The overlay picture someone posted earlier is rather misleading as the roof of the FR-S is supposed to be a couple of inches lower than the Z.

Well the overlay is from an older picture of the concept so it is not exactly to scale as many changes to the car have occurred
I would really like to see a turbo option but it seems less likely with each passing month. Though a 'STi' version has been mentioned, Subaru said it probably would stay NA RWD.

Yea, just wanted to reinforce the point about a low center of gravity. I didn't mean to imply that Nick's overlay post was intentionally misleading just that it doesn't really give a good idea of the car's proportions.

Reminds me of the genesis more...

I remember reading and this car possibly being a 4 cylinder turbo... HP wasnt really discussed but it seemed like it would make a decent mark on the sports car class....

Now i just read that Subaru and Toyota-Scion plan on only coming out with a 4 cylinder NON turbo model to start.... So it will basically be a RWD TC/Celica then...

I was really liking the idea of bringing the Trueno 8-6 (aka FT86) to the states in a nice new model... I could feel like Tak on Initial D! haha
