It looks good if you are standing at least 5 feet back. Any closer and you start to see the massive imperfections in the paint. But its not bad if you want to just have black wheels for a little while for about 30 minutes of your time and $13.

Alright, just got done doing my emblems/side markers. Came out pretty good, I'll wait till tomorrow to snap some after shots so you can actually see them, but for now here's some of the prep shots...

It started getting a bit breezy as soon as I got to laying the protective wrapping down so that's why I made the cones for each ones, to prevent bugs/debris from sticking while they dried. Every car that was driving by was like :wtf: :icon08: :rofl2: Even had the Sheriff that was doing a ride through stop and ask me what was up. :icon17: More pics to come tomorrow!

very nice

Since plasti dip is removed pretty easy without hurting the finish on the wheels has anyone thought about using the plasti dip as like a primer then getting some krylon and painting over to get a better looking finish?

Looks like you did a really thorough prep job, I'm sure it's going to turn out great....

XwChriswX... Man it rained last night.. You have the worst luck when it comes to painting stuff and the rain. Hope it all turns out good!

Hmmm I'm about to drive from FL to NY. I wonder if this would be better than blue tape....

looks good cwis:tup:

You don't need all that much prepping like paint. This stuff peels off VERY easily.

Yeah, I know it looks like I go overkill on the prep-work, but I've always been one to believe the more you prep for in the beginning, the less there is to worry about in the end.

Yeah I was actually able to get everything prepped and coated before a bud let me know it was going to rain. But when I went out to go remove everything, I herd it booming and saw flashes, but we didn't get 1 drop ftw.

See above. :icon17:

This stuff dries fast as hell too. It's dry to touch in 5 minutes or less and handle after less than 30 minutes.

I gave it the four hours as stated on the can, (xbl time  ) And Everything was a breeze to remove. I was actually surprised how easily it separated from the parts that were painted.
