Default Track Seats...Can't decide between Sparco Rev and Recaro Profi SPG

I am looking to install a bucket seat but not sure which of the following I should get.

I am 5'6" tall and my waist is 30 and I would need a FIA seat.

I believe the best way to get this right is really to just try it out. Unfortunately there are many places that keeps seats at the store for me to try so I would appreciate any input that could help me lean towards either choice.

Sparco Rev

Recaro Profi SPG

Personally I like the looks of Sparco but I hear Recaro is a better brand. Both are around the same price.

If anyone could comment on the fitment, comfort for either seat or even have another suggestion would be great.

Out of the two you listed, I'd go with the Recaro. Another seat to consider would be the Bride Vios III. Similar in dimensions, FIA approved, and similar in price.

You really should try and sit in one before you commit. Are you involved in motor sports? If there aren't upcoming events ask around your local SCCA or NASA forums for someone who has one in their car and go visit.

I'm cosigning with the rest about sitting in one before you buy, each seat fits a bit different. Sparco's usually run a bit wider in the seat than Recaro's.
The Recaro Profi is my seat of choice, for whatever that's worth.

The corbeau forza is really padded and comfy. The new forza sport is FIA too and at $300 I don't know how you could pass that up.
