It's inspired by the function of the gtr center section... This is diverting air over the intercooler for FI vehicles. This was a clean way of modifying the design.

Do not expect a gtr replica bumper design this design will be smooth and the inlet won't be huge and gaudy like many of the gtr bumper look a likes. The inlet will stay narrow and focused not tall like the gtr bumper calls for. Also we will be cleaning up some of the lines on the front bumper like eliminating the front bumper side strake accents... Simplifying the design is our main goal.

Mike

If you want to modify the amuse keep the lines of it.
Wider front vents - Works especially if functional
Front opening (GTR or whatever inspired) - Lose it, just looks tacked on and worthless

Side skirts - rear half looks ok but lose the 3 vents on the front

Rear bumper - looks exactly the same from the pictures, will have to wait till better pictures are produced.

Simplifying the front...strake? What's that?

RCZ 06-28-2011 04:33 PM

Come on...you're saying youre making a completely new kit and you come up with an Amuse kit with bigger openings?

Why not make something a little more original, you guys have shown you have the creativity and the ability with previous projects, why limit yourself to this?

Look to JGTC and Lemans for inspiration and you will never go wrong :)

bigaudiofanat 06-28-2011 04:41 PM

Id hit it

Lemers 06-28-2011 04:52 PM

You'd hit anything

Now about kits. Take a look at the new Abflug front bumper on the GTR. I like it a think a version of it would work on the Z. And it wouldn't be the same as a GTR clone kit for the Z.

UAM should design and produce a completely original body kit and then have Powerhouse Amuse sell replicas of it.

Damn Mike I need to call you. I cannot get a good brake from work to settle for play time. Trying to keep power on with all these small storm were having. Hope to escape tonight.

Front clip: Like it. Would buy
Sides: I do like but I really want something more squared look. Varis style.
Rear: No doubt sexy.

I'm planning on something first of the year. So this will give me time to really decided.

Here is an updated look for the front... Smoothed the accents out a little.

The Dimer 06-28-2011 07:56 PM

When I look at the concept photos there are a few things I notice.

1. The rear: looks identical to the standard amuse rear, which I am a fan of.
2. The sides: I think the side skirts flow pretty well with the all the vents in the front and rear bumpers and if they could be made functional (e.g. break ducting) that would be even better.
3. The front: I don't dislike it because it looks like you're trying to make the Z look like a GTR, I can appreciate the desire for functional air flow. I dislike it because the center section just doesn't fit with the amuse front bumper. The amuse front is very sleek and the GTR center section is bulky. I'd try to make it blend in better so it doesn't look so out of place.

I realize these are just concept photos and the final product may look different, but after reading through the rest of the thread it seems like you are taking the comments people are offering and saying, "You guys don't know what you like, this is what we're going to make." So use the suggestions you are getting to improve the look and put out the best kit you can.

The Rear is the same with design with a few tweaks...
- Side vents are larger
- Center duct shelf is about 2"~3" lower to allow for a custom exhaust
- Rear Diffuser is added
- The whole bumper is lower

Here is a GTR Bumper for Comparison...
http://exoticcarrentals-lasvegas.com...issan-gt-r.jpg

Notice that our center section is completely flat across the top... The GTR's isnt.
Notice also how big and bulky that opening is... Ours will be about 1"~1.5" tall according to the rendering.
Also, Our center section is simply there to cover the crash beam area

Dimer,

Please dont take my responses as we arent listening... we are running many ideas and concepts to remain functional and to better a great kit!

A lot of people love the amuse kit and we want to offer a differing version of it. Something that will have a fresh look yet still appeal to the amuse crowd. I have heard from many that they would buy the amuse kit but it seems like everybody and their brother has that kit. People are looking for something a little different... we are trying to speak out to that crowd.

NewYorkJon34 06-28-2011 11:38 PM

I think you guys should step away from the amuse side & really look into modifing the Zele kit. Looking forward to seeing the new kits Mike
