That's incorrect.

The last real Amuse wing we ordered took 10 weeks, which included the actually production time and ocean freight from Japan. (Also, this one was ordered several days before the earthquake, which had an effect on the supply of materials to many composite manufacturers in Japan causing delays.)

You quoted the knock-off wing taking 3-4 months, and that's made in the US...

Yes there is a demand for the cf wing and looks better that's why there is a wait. Lead time for the wing has changed. 8 to 10 weeks for both Frp and cf
