Have a quick question, I'm looking to buying a used z, and the prev owner installed a cheap aftermarket knob. It's the screw on type that's held by Allen screws.

Have a quick question, I'm looking to buying a used z, and the prev owner installed a cheap aftermarket knob. It's the screw on type that's held by Allen screws. One thing I noticed was the shift boot was hanging off the knob, how do you get it back on the bottom of the knob?
Also I was hearing some rattling from the shifter when going into high rpms, might be from the loose shift boot. |
