CS... is it possible to design such a way that when it rains, the vents has a proper drainage that would flow away from the intakes? Just a thot...

Vented hoods are mostly done for look and to reduce underhood temps and getting water is always a possibility. We have designed many vented hoods for sports cars, never had a single issue with rain or whatever else. and the intake filter element was sitting pretty much directly underneath the vents. EVOs and many other cars have vented hoods stock, and they have no issues with water (not excatly the case here but just an example)
We might come up with an idea to cover up the vents temporary and can be removed easily but as of now this hood will be sold as is. :driving: P.S, all PM's replied. |
