you can literally tap from the power socket (12v cigarette lighter socket) wire too if you dont want to use add-a-circuit jumper from the fuse box.

if it's just a strip or two of LED with minimal power consumption, you can even wrap a pig tail on a switched fuse terminal and push the fuse back into the fuse slot and get power that way.
