hummm... maybe do this?

10 people: $xxx, lead-time xx weeks.
15 people: $xxx, lead-time xx weeks
20 people: $xxx, lead-time xx weeks
30 people: $xxx, lead-time xx weeks

it's a stick-on type so im guessing price is like 150 range...

Red__Zed 04-11-2011 02:36 PM

I'm interested, also depending on price.

Yeah, you are right that is probably too expensive. So let's say that it will be $100 shipped; that leaves some profit for you while giving us a good deal (albeit still on the pricy side)....

A single piece front lip will set you some good $400...

I believe the sum of the parts of this kit requies less than half the material to manufacture, half the material, half the price:

So it should cost $200

What CF front lip can you get for 400 besides the EVOR?

for stick-on types you just place the bit and press down. walla. :)

that's the beauty of stick-on types. no messing with removing parts if you dont know how.

yah, but at the end if it's done nicely im sure it'll look fine. :)

i think of CF wrap this way:

Best: real CF bits made from core.

Better: custom wrap with real CF (wat you got).

Good: custom wrap using DiNoc or equivalent simulated CF wrap (wat i have).

Decent: stick-on with real CF but with some form/shape to match contour. (this is the type currently sold here).

Bad: stick-on with no form/shape, just a flat piece of CF. this is the type that looks like crap when applied.

yea I gotta say, overlays are just kinda cheap... The reason why we only wrap our parts is because it truly looks like a real carbon fiber piece.... It has a solid structure, no use of sticky tape that starts peeling or drying up also overlays seem to stick out by adding additional material on top of tape so its not as flush.

would love to have seen replica setup but its the same reason why we dont offer replicas but rather wrap them...cost of time and mold is too much.

yep, the bulky bubbliness i dont like either but again, if done with taste it should look okay. :) this is why i went with the simulated CF as it looks fused to the piece and does not appear added-on.

kenchan 04-12-2011 12:59 PM

carbonsignal- would you be able to do ala carte? i only want the 3 hats and the cluster pieces in matte black CF... ?
