I think the spray on stuff is mostly to stop the panel from vibrating (deadening), don't think it has huge insulating properties. I think Dynomat on the interior would work

I think Dynomat on the interior would work better, it's really heavy and dense and a good sound insulator. It will hurt performance slightly though if you go adding 100 pounds of it. |
