I wonder if this aluminum finisher, instead of the cheap looking rubber one, would work on our shaft?

happy it might work but I think the rubber finisher is fine. Its a nice contrast to the knob and has a nice match to the boot. :)
|
^Happy that would work, but why? The black rubber one fits really well... and as Ken said, it contrasts the Ti well. Save your 25 bucks ;)

I think you guys may be right, especially after seeing lochness' install! I will listen to your voices of reason!

Shift knob and GTR button installed in (no lie) 20 minutes! Since I had the shift knob off, it made installing the starter button sooo much easier! I was able to move the shifter boot and ring completely out of the way. It was not necessary to disconnect SRM or anything!
Thumbs up and REP to G2Z for the write up! Will post pics as time permits! |

Oh yeah..I only needed the strap wrench for the first two revolutions, and thereafter it was all by hand, baby!
|
^ so the strap wrench REALLY worked for you too? Awesome man. So why is Ken the only one breaking his straps???? Is he just that much more buff than us?!?!?! :D
