Default i'm bored...painting rims and calipers...

bad combination, boredom and paint.... i just took my wheels of the car and sanded them down and cleaned them. they are currently sitting on a plastic sheet on my back porch with the first coat of paint on them. i figured i had some G2 caliper paint that i should use so i just took the wheels off to do that and it went downhill from there... hopefully it will all turn out ok. pics to follow. now where's my beer.......

No worries, I'm just saying it can be worth it to do something on our own if done properly. Now if you need to pay someone to fix your mistakes it's not worth the effort.

no i don't have a big truck i have a 69 vet.... and it just so happens i picked the WORST weekend to do this.. it started raining last night and rain blew in on the wheels, so i had to resand them and paint em again... and today the wind is like 15 mph.. grrrr

right now i'm trying to put some clear coat on them then... freaking wind....

i painted the rims on my mustang before and the turned out pretty good. also painted a set to go on an old isuzu amigo (just an off road play toy)
