Installed mine almost 2 years ago and it's been holding up great! Looks OEM and color match is almost perfect.

Sweet! did you drill it? Mine's coming in today, but i'm on the fence about drilling it in or not. A friend of mine is saying its small and has little wind drag, so I don't need to. Buuut I'm still thinking about it... since its a daily driver and all...

Fantastic Z 01-30-2014 01:43 PM

I JUST walked in my front door with spoiler in hand lol
Paint looks awesome! I will be putting mine on with the tape only. Of course I will be adding EXTRA 3M tape where I can ;)

NOPE! No drilling. I had the original double sided tape removed and reapplied fresh 3M automotive grade tape. Spoiler is mounted on, looks perfect, and is 100% removable!

Can someone please tell me where to go on this site to order lol i know its a dumb question but frustration is setting in. Do you have to call them?

JARblue 03-18-2014 10:25 AM

You cannot order this product from this website. Links are provided in the first post or try searching on eBay :tiphat:

If you're talking about where to order on Wing Tech's site, I would just call or email. They provide both on the Painted Spoilers page.

harordr 03-18-2014 10:30 AM

Great thanks! yea ive been searching around wing techs site to order but Ill call them.

harordr 03-18-2014 11:41 AM

I just got quoted $200 painted and shipped...this seems higher than what most people are saying they got it for. Does anyone know if prices went up?

It did go up. But it was $139 just a few weeks ago. If you search on ebay, there are still people selling them for $140.

EDIT: Scratch that! i just saw their listing. It's still $139 from thespoilercompany on ebay.

harordr 03-18-2014 01:09 PM

awesome thanks! im calling them back

sekz370 03-19-2014 06:34 AM

I just looked on their website and noticed they have the nismo version. Anyone try it yet? Also for those that only used tape, how well is holding on? I really dont want to drill

harordr 03-19-2014 09:03 AM

Make sure u order it from their ebay page bc i called them an said i want to order and they said they only do $140 if u order from ebay. Dumb imo

A little over 1 yr my spoiler is still looking and holding on good with just tape. I didn't drill but I did put a little extra 3m that I had when installed.

I put on extra tape also, the strong stuff (20lbs tape), but so strong I couldnt lift it off to adjust it. It was a hair crooked (can't notice until you come up close, look under, near the middle break light. That's what I get for having a "bonding" moment with my nephew.

I park out door and I have noticed it lifting just a small bit on the slightly higher side. Still strong, can't pull it off, but its trapping water in there. Leaks out when I open the hatch. Gonna go nearby to have a professional redo it. $100 was the quote.

madmike23 03-19-2014 11:04 AM

D'oh! I lost the screws!

Anyone know what kind of screws came with it? Gotta have it on hand for the guys when they do the install. Thanks in advance!

For lip spoilers, I never use screws, for "wing" type spoilers, you're going to need to use screws.

Don't use the screws, you'll be fine.

scZdc 03-22-2014 04:18 PM

looks sharp and im thinking about ordering. CarID offers the same design at a similar price, but based upon whats been written on this board, im not sure if i want to order from them. would you know if they get their spoilers from the same manufacturer or does Wingtech do it all in-house? bolt on or double-sided tape? much appreciated, and sick ride!

harordr 03-24-2014 11:05 AM

Mine should be in tomorrow. Im debating if i want to use screws as well

daveb91 08-05-2014 01:24 PM

Mine shipped today hopefully it's a smooth install.

daveb91 09-03-2014 08:52 PM

Installed it today looks great gonna let it sit over night before I drive it. I lined out up about fifty times before I drilled the holes. Everything came out fine.

RTenenbaum 09-07-2014 12:04 AM

Has anyone tried their version of the NISMO spoiler?

I got one from ebay a few months ago. It was from the seller advanation, just search "nissan 370Z spoiler" and they should be listed. The fit and color were a perfect match. It was $129.99 shipped

Did you guys do the install on your own or did you take it to a shop?

I just did mine myself. I only did the 3M tape, no screws, and it's on there for good. If you go that route just replace or add to the tape that comes preinstalled on it. I was skeptical of just 3M tape holding but after reading that it worked for other people on here, that thing is like a rock.
Looks like Madmike above got a quote of $100 installed if you decide to go that way.

madmike23 02-23-2015 04:25 PM

I got lazy, didn't go to get it drilled. The spoiler is still holding strong with 3M tape. I used the "Super Heavy Duty" or Outdoor, I think they're rated to hold 5 or 10 lbs.

louiey370z 04-08-2015 11:44 AM

Bought my spoiler a couple days ago. Will update soon

mtbdave 10-23-2015 06:31 AM

Hi, I want to make sure I have the right link.. can anyone confirm that this is the same wing?

Painted Spoiler for A Nissan 370Z Factory Style Spoiler 2009 2013 Hard Top Only | eBay

mtbdave 10-23-2015 08:52 AM

Does anyone have a current link to the wing on eBay from wingtech, I did a search and it doesn't seem to come up. Thx

mtbdave 10-23-2015 03:06 PM

Just wondering which seller you purchased your spoiler from and if you are still happy with it? I am looking to purchase one for mine.. thanks.

installed mine without screws this weekend,

I was a bit skeptical about not screwing it so I went berzerk on the 3M tape!!

can you post up how it looks. want to see if the tape is visible without drill, whats the thickness of the 3m..

celiboom 11-06-2015 11:00 AM

tape isn't noticable at all. Even if it would be, it's black on my black car!!

But anyway here is my pic!
