Default 7" Magellan GPS installation

I just installed this new Magellan GPS in my 2009 370Z. I had to disassemble part of the dash in order to remove the flip-up door and to run the wiring behind the dash and down to the power outlet below the dash. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing install but it sure is practical. This GPS just came out and was only $229 Canadian. It's very light and is held in place with velcro.

Has potential. I would take it to an audio shop and have them fabricate a cover for a more custom look.

how are the functions and is the touchscreen functions good? Thats pretty cheap, purchasing that and custom install would probably still be cheaper, then a new double din tv/nav.

I like the audio shop custom fabrication idea. I never thought of that. The functions of the unit are very good. It's just a basic GPS but I like the big screen and the large keys on the screen for typing. It's kind of nice not having a built-in system that won't let you operate it unless you're stopped. Thanks for the input. It has usb and a/v input as well.
